Nathalie Lété, a French artist, whose work is well known for its vibrancy, playfulness and naivety. The uniqueness and beauty of her paintings attract people from all around the world. As a result, her paintings have been used on numerous products from hand-cream, clothing, ceramics to wallpaper for many brands - most notably Gucci, Anthropologies and H&M.
Nathalie started the ‘Beloved Toys’ project in March 2020. At the time, she was confined in her country house, and while she was there she found a toy that reminded her how happy she was when she had it with her. It brought a smile to her face in the midst of the difficult time. So Nathalie decided to post a picture of her toy on Instagram and asked her followers to send her a picture of toys that give them comfort during this uncertain time, with a hope of bringing joy and connection with people. And here in your hands the selection of heart-warming stories and pictures of beloved toys that Nathalie painted for people from different parts of the world.
Beloved Toys is a playful book that brings adults and children together, to share their memories. It is a time-machine that takes us back to moments of joy and happiness when we were with our own ‘beloved toys’.
